Can I still have a baby with adenomyosis?

Is it still possible to have children with adenomyosis?

Patients with adenomyosis must actively cooperate with doctors during treatment. Most patients can restore fertility after treatment. Sexual relations must be avoided during treatment.

The main causes of female infertility caused by adenomyosis are as follows:

1. Impact on the fallopian tubes and ovaries: Adenomyosis can compress the fallopian tubes, causing them to deform, and the eggs cannot be absorbed normally, leading to blockage of the fallopian tubes, sperm cannot enter normally, and the ovaries cannot ovulate normally, thereby affecting women's fertility and causing infertility.

2. Impact on the endometrium: Adenomyosis is generally distributed below the endometrium, which will affect women's normal physiology and may even cause menstruation to stop. This prevents bleeding in the uterine cavity, causing the endometrium to gradually necrotize due to ischemia, and the sperm cannot combine with the egg normally, leading to infertility.

3. Impact on the fertilized egg: Adenomyosis will accelerate the contraction ability of the uterus, making it far higher than normal, making it difficult for the fertilized egg to land and prone to infertility. Even if the fertilized egg successfully lands, the possibility of miscarriage is greater.
