What complications can dysmenorrhea cause?

What complications can dysmenorrhea easily lead to?

1. Pelvic inflammation: persistent pain in the lower abdomen, which can radiate to the waist, sometimes accompanied by a feeling of anal swelling. It can also cause mechanical blockages such as reproductive tract deformity, forward tilt of the uterus, and vaginal isolation, resulting in poor menstrual blood flow, blood accumulation, and dysmenorrhea.

2. Endometriosis: It is common in middle-aged women aged 30 to 45 years old. The endometrium escapes from the uterus and "sets up camp". Because it does not flow out of the body, it stimulates the surrounding tissues to cause uterine muscle contraction or tissue fibrosis, causing dysmenorrhea, and is affected by ovarian hormones to thicken and bleed.

3. Uterine adenomyoma: common in women over 40 years old, with multiple miscarriages and curettage. Cervical or intrauterine adhesions: common in patients with recurrent miscarriages, endometrial tuberculosis, etc.

4. Adenomyosis is a benign disease caused by the invasion of the endometrium into the myometrium. It is one of the typical symptoms of dysmenorrhea. There may also be an increase in menstrual volume or a prolonged menstrual period. Gynecological examination shows that the uterus is uniformly enlarged, spherical, and hard. Generally speaking, there will be slight tenderness around 2 months of pregnancy.
