Normal color of ovulation bleeding

Normal color of ovulation bleeding

The normal colors of ovulation bleeding mainly include light pink, pink, dark red, bright red, brown or tan, etc.

1. Light pink or pink: When the amount of bleeding is small and the blood is mixed with leucorrhea and discharged from the body in time, the color may fade to light pink or pink. This color of bleeding usually indicates a small amount of bleeding, which is a normal physiological phenomenon and does not require special intervention and treatment.

2. Dark red: If the estrogen level in a girl's body continues to drop, it may cause a large area of endometrium shedding. At this time, the amount of bleeding may be relatively large, and the color may appear dark red. If the blood stays in the vagina for a long time after bleeding, it may also appear dark red due to oxidation. Although dark red bleeding may indicate a large amount of bleeding, as long as it is within the normal range and is not accompanied by other discomfort symptoms, there is generally no need to worry too much.

3. Bright red: After ovulation, the estrogen level drops briefly, and the endometrium loses the support of estrogen and partially sheds. When shedding, the blood vessels are damaged and blood seeps out. At this time, the blood may appear bright red. Bright red bleeding usually means that the bleeding is relatively fresh and the amount may be moderate.

4. Brown or tan: If the endometrium is not discharged in time after shedding, the blood will oxidize for a long time in the body, and the color will deepen. When it is discharged through the vagina later, it will appear brown or tan. This color of bleeding usually means that the bleeding time is relatively long or the amount of bleeding is small and the discharge is slow.

However, if the amount of bleeding continues to increase, the color becomes abnormally darker, or other uncomfortable symptoms appear, you should seek medical attention in time to rule out the possibility of underlying disease.
