How many months will ectopic pregnancy have symptoms

Ectopic pregnancy is clinically known as ectopic pregnancy, which is an abnormal state caused by the fertilized egg implanting outside the uterine cavity. Most ectopic pregnancies will show clinical symptoms 6 to 8 weeks after menstruation, and a small number of them will not show symptoms until about 3 months after menstruation, which mainly depends on the location of the fertilized egg implantation.

Ectopic pregnancy is most common in the isthmus of the fallopian tube. Because the lumen of the isthmus of the fallopian tube is smaller and the blood circulation is not rich, the development of the fertilized egg is restricted, so symptoms will appear very early. Generally, abdominal pain, vaginal bleeding and other symptoms will appear 6 to 8 weeks after the menstruation. If it ruptures, fainting and shock may also occur.

In rare cases, the fertilized egg may implant in the abdominal cavity, broad ligament, ovary, etc., where the blood circulation is relatively abundant and the development of the fertilized egg is less restricted. Therefore, the fertilized egg may develop to about 3 months before the above clinical symptoms appear.

If an ectopic pregnancy is confirmed, you should see a doctor in the obstetrics and gynecology department of the hospital in time. Depending on your personal constitution, embryo activity and size, etc., you should follow the doctor's advice to choose surgical treatment, conservative treatment and other measures to avoid life-threatening situations.
