2. Discomfort:

3. Increased leucorrhea:

4. Irregular vaginal bleeding:

If a woman has reached the age of menopause for many years, and suddenly has menstruation again for no reason, and the menstrual flow is light and accompanied by abdominal pain, back pain and other symptoms, it is easy to be ignored. In fact, this irregular vaginal bleeding is often a sign of early symptoms of cervical erosion.

Treatment of cervical erosion

According to traditional Chinese medicine, cervical erosion is caused by excessive emotions, which turn into fire after a long period of depression, damage the liver and spleen, dampness and blood stasis, damage to the uterus, damage to the genital vessels, and external pathogenic toxins that cause abnormal drainage and transportation, and stagnation of qi and blood. The following are some common methods of traditional Chinese medicine to treat cervical erosion:

1. Decoction therapy for cervical erosion

The ingredients for the soup are: 500 grams each of fresh Houttuynia cordata and sesame oil, and 60 grams of beeswax.

Preparation and Usage: Boil sesame oil, put the washed and dried houttuynia cordata into the oil and boil together, filter with gauze to remove the residue after 5 minutes, then put beeswax into the filtrate, cool it into a paste for later use. Rinse the vagina with 1/5000 potassium permanganate solution, remove cervical secretions, and apply this ointment with a sterilized cotton ball with a tail to the cervical erosion. Apply once a day until it is healed.

2. Acupuncture therapy for cervical erosion

Wrist-ankle acupuncture plus body acupuncture: (I) Acupoint selection: Main acupoint: Lower 1 acupoint. Auxiliary acupoints: Guanyuan, Guilai, Qihai. Location of Lower 1 acupoint: 3 inches above the tip of the medial malleolus, 1 horizontal finger in front of the Achilles tendon.

(II) Treatment method: Generally, only the main acupoint is used. If the effect is not obvious, 1 to 2 auxiliary acupoints are added. The method of needling the lower acupoint: Take a 30-gauge filiform needle with a length of 1.5 inches, and quickly insert the needle tip into the skin at a 30-degree angle toward the proximal end of the acupoint. Put the needle handle flat, and the needle body close to the subcutaneous tissue. Slowly insert the needle about 1 to 1.5 inches. The patient should feel no needle sensation. Keep the needle in for 20 to 30 minutes. For auxiliary acupoints, it is advisable to pierce straight so that the sensation radiates to the perineum.
