What tests should women with cervical erosion do? Women must do 4 tests to diagnose cervical erosion

Nowadays, many women are very worried that they will suffer from cervical erosion, because most women will have this disease in their daily lives. So what kind of examination should be done for cervical erosion?

1. Gynecological examination

The doctor will insert a duckbill-shaped vaginal speculum coated with lubricant into the vagina, then open it and stretch the vaginal walls that are usually close together to observe whether there are visible lesions in the vagina and cervix. Generally, the presence of cervical erosion can be preliminarily determined by the condition of leucorrhea and the symptoms on the surface of the cervix. Women need to be as relaxed as possible during insertion. The more nervous you are, the more likely it is to cause pain and affect the examination effect.

2. Leucorrhea Routine

During the gynecological examination, the doctor will take some leucorrhea for testing. Routine leucorrhea testing can detect whether the vagina is infected. If you have vaginitis, you need to cure the vaginitis before treating cervical erosion.

3. Electronic colposcopy

Through the electronic colposcope, the doctor can use the vaginal dilator outside the patient's vagina to take a clear image of the cervix in the vagina 20 cm away from the vaginal opening, and magnify the suspicious lesions of the cervix, and add acetic acid or other solutions to show the lesions, which can make the field of vision clearer, and observe the changes in suspicious lesions such as unusual vascular hyperplasia and white epithelium on the cervix, and increase the accuracy of the slice location. The electronic colposcope is like a digital camera, it can really take pictures of the degree of cervical erosion.

4. tct

Cervical erosion is difficult to distinguish from cervical intraepithelial neoplasia or early cervical cancer in appearance, so a routine cervical smear examination and, if necessary, a biopsy are required to confirm the diagnosis. Since the detection rate of abnormal cervical cells is relatively low compared with the traditional cervical smear and Pap smear examination, TCT examination is generally used now.

Women suffering from cervical erosion must have a gynecological examination, and also have a routine leucorrhea examination. Such an examination can effectively check whether their vagina is damaged, thereby more effectively treating the disease of cervical erosion.
