Gynecologists say that girls should pay more attention to changes in their bodies in life. Once there is an increase in leucorrhea and contact bleeding, they should go to the hospital in time to check whether they have cervical erosion. So what tests are needed to diagnose cervical erosion? Let the gynecologist introduce you to the details. 1. Gynecological examination. The doctor will insert a duckbill-shaped vaginal speculum coated with lubricant into the vagina, then open it and stretch the vaginal walls that are usually close together to observe whether there are visible lesions in the vagina and cervix. Generally, the presence of cervical erosion can be preliminarily determined by the leucorrhea and cervical surface symptoms. Women need to be as relaxed as possible during insertion. The more nervous you are, the more likely it is to cause pain and affect the examination results. 2. Routine examination of leucorrhea. During the gynecological examination, the doctor will take some leucorrhea for testing. Routine examination of leucorrhea can detect whether the vagina is infected. If you have vaginitis, you need to cure the vaginitis before treating cervical erosion. 3. Electronic colposcopy. Through the electronic colposcopy, the doctor can take a clear image of the cervix in the vagina with the help of a vaginal dilator 20 cm away from the vaginal opening, and magnify the suspicious lesions of the cervix. Adding acetic acid or other solutions to show the lesions can make the field of vision clearer, and observe the changes in suspicious lesions such as unusual vascular hyperplasia and white epithelium on the cervix, and increase the accuracy of the slice location. The electronic colposcopy is like a digital camera, which can truly capture the degree of cervical erosion. 4. TCT. Cervical erosion is difficult to distinguish from cervical intraepithelial neoplasia or early cervical cancer in appearance, so a routine cervical smear examination and, if necessary, a biopsy are required to confirm the diagnosis. TCT is now generally used because the detection rate of abnormal cervical cells is relatively low compared to traditional cervical smear and Pap smear examinations. 5. Iodine test and naked eye observation method. At present, the World Health Organization (WHO) recommends the use of naked eye observation in developing countries. As a preliminary screening method for cervical cancer, 3%-5% acetic acid solution is used to smear the cervix. Observe the reaction of the cervical epithelium to acetic acid, and then take a biopsy from the white lesion area. 6. Pathological examination of cervical biopsy tissue is the basis for confirming cervical cancer. |
