During pregnancy, women have different physical conditions and different reactions to pregnancy. Some women feel very painful, while some women do not feel the early pregnancy phenomenon. But everyone should pay attention. So, will the endometrium thicken during pregnancy? The endometrium will thicken in the early stages of pregnancy. After the fertilized egg implants, the endometrium will further proliferate and increase in thickness. Under the action of the corpus luteum of pregnancy, decidua will occur and form decidua. Moreover, a certain thickness of the endometrium is the basis for the implantation of the fertilized egg. An endometrium that is too thin is not conducive to implantation. The fertilized egg absorbs nutrients and oxygen from the fluid secreted by the fallopian tube and continues to divide. At the same time, the fertilized egg gradually moves toward the uterine cavity. When it reaches the uterine cavity 3-4 days later, it has developed into a multi-cell entity shaped like a mulberry, so it is called a morula. The morula continues to divide in the uterine cavity to form a blastocyst, which enters the endometrium about 6-8 days after fertilization. This process is called implantation or planting. 5-6 days after fertilization, the fertilized egg develops into a late blastocyst and implants through three processes: positioning, adhesion, and invasion. The late blastocyst first approaches the endometrium, adheres to the endometrium and begins to differentiate. The differentiated trophoblasts penetrate and invade the endometrium, the inner 1/3 of the muscle layer, and the blood vessels. The blastocyst is completely buried in the endometrium and covered by the endometrium. Implantation is then complete. At present, the mechanism of embryo implantation has not been fully elucidated, but the elements of successful embryo implantation include high-quality embryos, receptive endometrium and a suitable endocrine environment. When the fertilized egg implants, women are generally in the secretory phase of the endometrium, at which time the thickness of the endometrium is between 5-10mm. Women must do a good job of pre-pregnancy check-up. Endometrium that is too thin or too thick is not conducive to the implantation of the fertilized egg, which will directly affect pregnancy. If a woman has abnormal endometrium, she must get pregnant after treatment. Women should also pay attention to maintenance after pregnancy. Once abnormal endometrium is found during pregnancy, it is necessary to see a doctor in time to avoid affecting the development of the fetus. |
