Three manifestations of cervical erosion symptoms

Three manifestations of cervical erosion symptoms

Cervical erosion is mainly divided into three stages: mild cervical erosion, moderate cervical erosion and severe cervical erosion. Of course, the symptoms of cervical erosion in each stage are also different, which requires our attention, and we should also avoid some factors that cause cervical erosion.

Symptoms of cervical erosion are mainly increased vaginal discharge, vulvar itching, odor, and some women also have bleeding, most of which are irregular vaginal bleeding and bleeding during sexual intercourse. This phenomenon is actually a symptom of cervical erosion. Since the cervix is stimulated by inflammation for a long time, if you have sex at this time, it will cause the cervix to be damaged again, and bleeding may occur in severe cases.

Mild cervical erosion means that the eroded surface is less than 1/3 of the total area of the cervix. The symptoms of mild cervical erosion are increased leucorrhea and yellowish color. Depending on the pathogen, the leucorrhea will also change in quality, quantity and color. Normal leucorrhea is colorless or milky white, egg white-like, slightly fishy or odorless.

Some women often cannot observe subtle changes in their bodies, so they must take preventive and inspection measures, pay attention to sexual hygiene, take timely and effective contraceptive measures, have a gynecological examination once a year, etc., to ensure women's health.

Moderate cervical erosion means that the eroded surface occupies less than 2/3 of the total area of the cervix. The symptoms of moderate cervical erosion usually include increased vaginal discharge, yellow color, stickiness and odor; itching when the inflammation irritates the vulva; when the eroded surface becomes obviously congested, bright red or easy to bleed, there will be contact bleeding during sexual intercourse and irregular vaginal bleeding.

Severe cervical erosion means that the cervical erosion area accounts for more than 2/3 of the total cervical area. Symptoms of severe cervical erosion include increased leucorrhea, yellow color, sticky texture and odor. Inflammatory leucorrhea can also cause itching if it stimulates the vulva for a long time. Leucorrhea can also vary in color, state and quality depending on the pathogen.

Therefore, some patients with severe cervical erosion will have blood in their leucorrhea, and sometimes contact bleeding and irregular vaginal bleeding after sexual intercourse, accompanied by symptoms of cervical erosion such as frequent urination and urgency.
