How to treat mild cervical erosion? Detailed description of the scientific treatment method for mild cervical erosion

Professor Geng Xiaoxing, director of the Second Gynecological Ward of the Affiliated Tumor Hospital of Harbin Medical University, said that cervical erosion is a cervical disease that is common in women of childbearing age. It is the most common clinical manifestation of chronic cervicitis and accounts for the first place in gynecological outpatients. Although the name of the disease is a bit scary, it is a gynecological problem that does not need to be fussed about. According to the size of the erosion surface, cervical erosion is divided into 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degrees. According to the depth and shape of the erosion surface, it can be divided into simple type, granular type and nipple type. Current research believes that simple cervical erosion in women of childbearing age, especially young women, is not true cervical erosion. It is caused by the high level of estrogen in the body and the outward migration of the junction of the squamous epithelium and columnar epithelium of the cervix, and does not require treatment. Among women who have had sexual life, the incidence of cervical erosion is relatively high, and most of them are "mild and moderate", which will not affect life and can be cured with local drug treatment or simple physical therapy. The causes of true cervical erosion are very complex: generally related to cervical damage or long-term and repeated infection of reproductive tract bacteria, viruses and trichomonas: for example, slight damage to the cervix during sexual intercourse, mechanical friction of condoms, artificial abortion, stimulation of the tail of intrauterine contraceptive device, viral infection, bacterial and trichomonas vaginitis, repeated invasion, all of which may cause inflammation and erosion of the cervix. Most cervical erosions have no obvious clinical symptoms, and many people are found during gynecological examinations.

What should be paid attention to is that patients with long-term and severe cervical erosion have a higher incidence of cervical precancerous lesions and cervical cancer; the naked eye cannot distinguish whether it is erosion or precancerous lesions and early cancer. Therefore, it is not enough for patients to undergo only routine gynecological examinations. They should undergo TCT examinations at the same time as gynecological examinations once a year. TCT examination is an effective method for screening cervical precancerous lesions and early cervical cancer. In particular, before using physical methods (electrocautery, freezing, laser, Bom light, etc.) to treat cervical erosion, it is necessary to do cervical exfoliated cytology (TCT) to exclude early cancer and precancerous lesions, so as to avoid improper stimulation and accelerate the progression of lesions. If the following situations occur, it may be a sign of worsening inflammation: increased leucorrhea with irregular color, purulent or bloody, and odor. Bleeding during sexual life may be due to worsening cervical inflammation or a sign of early cervical cancer. Don't be careless.

Cervical erosion usually does not affect pregnancy and childbirth. However, due to hormone changes in some people after pregnancy, it will be slightly aggravated, but it has little effect on the fetus. It should be noted that there is a kind of "human papillomavirus (HpV)" that is particularly prone to cervical infection and is also one of the important causes of cervical cancer. This virus can be transmitted through sexual intercourse. Therefore, if you start sexual intercourse at an early age or have more than two sexual partners, the risk index of cervical cancer will be greatly increased. You should pay special attention and insist on regular check-ups.
