What is the treatment for female cervical erosion? Two treatments for female cervical erosion

Infertility experts said that according to clinical survey statistics, about 70% of married women have varying degrees of cervical erosion. Although cervical erosion is a minor problem, it still needs to be taken seriously. The incidence of cervical cancer in women with cervical erosion is 10 times higher than that in women without cervical erosion. Since cervical erosion and early cervical cancer are difficult to distinguish in appearance, it is particularly important to treat cervical erosion in a timely manner.

There are two main methods for treating cervical erosion:

1. If the area of cervical erosion exceeds 2/3 of the internal cervical opening and reaches 1/3 of the outside, and the erosion is granular or nipple-shaped, physical therapy is appropriate. Currently, the commonly used physical therapies in clinical practice include: electric perm, laser, freezing, microwave and infrared therapy.

2. If the cervical erosion is mild, the area of erosion is limited to the inner 1/3 around the uterine opening, and the inflammation is shallow, local medication should be used for treatment, such as local drug film application, drug application or vaginal cervical insertion. Commonly used drugs include chlorhexidine suppository, Fuyan suppository, Fuyanling, Kangfu suppository, etc. As long as the medication is used persistently, better therapeutic effects can be achieved.

Infertility experts say that generally speaking, the cure rate of cervical erosion is very high, especially after physical therapy, and it is not easy to relapse. However, there are always some patients who have not been cured after multiple treatments or have relapsed after being cured, which makes the patients feel very troubled. Therefore, when female patients find symptoms of cervical erosion, they must go to a regular hospital for treatment as soon as possible to avoid missing the best treatment time.
