What are the symptoms of uterine effusion and how to treat it?

Uterine effusion can be divided into physiological uterine effusion and pathological uterine effusion according to the nature of the effusion. The symptoms of different types are different. Physiological uterine effusion usually occurs after ovulation or in early pregnancy. Some women will have symptoms such as heavy vaginal discharge and mild abdominal pain, which can usually be relieved by themselves. Pathological effusion is caused by inflammation, with lower abdominal distension, fever, increased white blood cell count and other systemic symptoms.

Uterine effusion is a reproductive system disease that is very harmful to female patients and requires timely treatment. It cannot be allowed to develop. Once a large amount of fluid accumulates in the uterus and cannot be discharged in time, it is easy to cause uterine cavity necrosis and even induce other gynecological diseases. However, most women are not particularly clear about the symptoms of uterine effusion. So, what are the symptoms of uterine effusion?
1. What are the symptoms of uterine effusion?
1. Physiological uterine effusion
Physiological uterine effusion usually occurs after ovulation or in early pregnancy and usually disappears on its own. There are usually no obvious symptoms. Some women may experience excessive vaginal discharge, mild abdominal pain, etc.
2. Pathological effusion
Most effusions are caused by inflammation, including exudation from chronic pelvic inflammation, and a few are caused by ruptured ectopic pregnancy, corpus luteum rupture, pelvic abscess, and ovarian cancer. The main symptoms are lower abdominal distension, which may be accompanied by systemic symptoms such as fever and increased white blood cell count. There is also uterine pyometra that gradually forms due to chronic endometritis. There are no obvious symptoms. Gynecological examination shows that the uterus is enlarged, soft, and tender. Other tissues beside the uterus are obviously thickened, and there may also be inflammatory masses in the adnexa.
2. How to treat uterine effusion
1. Drug treatment
Uterine effusion is a disease in which fluid accumulates in the uterine cavity, so it is treated by taking certain diuretic and drainage drugs, and supplemented with antibiotics, so as to discharge the excess fluid in time.
2. Surgical treatment
For surgical treatment, a detailed examination must be done and a clear understanding of the size, direction, and nature of the uterus must be obtained. During the surgical treatment, a cervical dilator can be used to facilitate further drainage of fluid.
3. General treatment
This treatment method is an auxiliary treatment, which requires patients to rest more and do more physical exercise. Only by improving their own physical fitness can they better cope with this disease.
