It is a normal physiological phenomenon for women to have menstruation, but many people will experience dysmenorrhea when their menstruation comes. Women who have experienced dysmenorrhea know the pain, which is really uncomfortable. Some people have more severe symptoms, rolling on the bed in pain, and their emotions are greatly affected by prostaglandins, making it impossible to work and live normally. If women want to relieve the symptoms of dysmenorrhea, they have to pay attention to many things. So what should they pay attention to when they have dysmenorrhea? How does traditional Chinese medicine regulate it? Today, I will share with you some popular science, hoping to help you.

Precautions for dysmenorrhea
1. Do not eat raw, cold and spicy food
If female friends have dysmenorrhea, they should not eat raw, cold and spicy food before and during menstruation. Such food will aggravate the symptoms and is also extremely harmful to women's health. It is recommended to drink more boiled water, eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, and keep the bowel movements smooth.
2. Avoid sitting for long periods of time. Women should avoid sitting for long periods of time during dysmenorrhea. Sitting for long periods of time will lead to a lack of exercise in the lower body, which will cause pelvic congestion, which will aggravate the symptoms of dysmenorrhea and is not good for blood vessels. During dysmenorrhea, you should do some appropriate activities, even if it is just walking, which will help improve the symptoms.

3. Avoid overwork
If women have dysmenorrhea, they must avoid overwork. If the work is heavy, it is recommended to make reasonable arrangements in advance. During the dysmenorrhea period, you should ensure a reasonable rest and avoid high-intensity labor and exercise, otherwise it will aggravate the symptoms and may also cause irregular menstruation.
4. Keep warm
Female friends with dysmenorrhea should pay attention to keeping warm during menstruation. Do not wash your hair during menstruation, especially in the first three days. If you have to wash your hair, be sure to blow dry it in time. You can't take a cold shower or use air conditioning during this period, otherwise the cold air will enter the body, which will reduce the speed of blood circulation, aggravate the symptoms of dysmenorrhea, and be extremely harmful to your health.

5. Maintain a good mood
The most taboo thing about dysmenorrhea is depression. If a woman already has symptoms of dysmenorrhea and is in a bad mood during this period, the pain will be aggravated. It is recommended that such patients learn to adjust their mood and do other things to divert their attention, which will help improve the symptoms.
