Why is the vaginal discharge yellow? Check if the color is abnormal

If a woman has yellow leucorrhea, if it is only slightly yellowish and there are no other symptoms such as vulvar itching and abnormal leucorrhea color, then usually no treatment is needed. However, if the leucorrhea is thick, then it may be cervicitis, endometritis or candidal vaginitis that induces adverse symptoms.

In real life, many women have found that their leucorrhea has turned yellow. This has caused great mental distress to women, and they are all worried that this will cause harm to their health. So, what is the matter with yellow leucorrhea?
Generally speaking, under normal circumstances, women's leucorrhea is slightly hot yellow. If there is no odor or other adverse symptoms, then this situation generally does not need to be treated. The reason for this situation may be that the leucorrhea stays in the female vagina for a very long time, which causes it to be yellowish, or the patient's recent eating habits are too spicy, causing the patient to have adverse symptoms of damp heat, which in turn causes the leucorrhea to become yellowish.
In this case, it is recommended that patients first improve their eating habits and drink more hot soup and hot water. At the same time, they must pay attention to personal hygiene. It is recommended to wear loose and breathable cotton underwear. In terms of vaginal care, it is recommended to use warm salt water for cleaning.
In addition, if a woman's leucorrhea is yellow and thick, then this may be caused by sticky secretions. It is usually considered that it may be cervicitis and candidal vaginitis, or adverse symptoms induced by endometritis. In this case, it is recommended that the patient first refrain from sexual intercourse, then go to the hospital for a routine examination of leucorrhea, and then, under the guidance of a doctor, proceed with the results of the examination. It should be noted that you should never take medication without authorization. At the same time, it is recommended that patients do not have sex before the test results come out, which may easily cause the infection to worsen. If it is cervicitis, choose oral anti-cervicitis tablets and erosive suppositories for treatment. If the inflammation is very serious, you may also need to cooperate with TCT and HPV examinations. If abnormal, a colposcopy should be performed to rule out cervical lesions if necessary.
