Causes of Endometrial Hyperplasia

Causes of Endometrial Hyperplasia

With the continuous development of society, many female friends are independent, but also because of the pressure of life and work, various gynecological diseases have come. Endometrial hyperplasia is one of the gynecological diseases, which can easily lead to female infertility. Therefore, women should correctly understand the causes of endometrial hyperplasia, stay away from irritating factors in life, and achieve the purpose of disease prevention.

Causes of Endometrial Hyperplasia

1. Anovulation Some women do not ovulate due to certain internal factors. Estrogen stimulates the endometrium for a long time, and there is no antagonistic effect of progesterone, which leads to insufficient conversion of the cyclical secretory phase and then endometrial hyperplasia.

2. Obesity According to surveys, obese women have more endometrial hyperplasia. This is because the androgen secreted by the adrenal glands is converted into estrone through aromatase in adipose tissue, thus causing endometrial hyperplasia. The more fat, the stronger the conversion ability, the higher the estrogen level in the body, and the higher the chance of endometrial hyperplasia.

3. Endocrine functional tumors Endocrine functional tumors are a relatively rare tumor, generally accounting for 7.5% of women, but it is one of the causes of endometrial hyperplasia. This is due to abnormal pituitary gonadotropin function, which leads to continuous secretion of estrogen and endometrial hyperplasia.

4. Long-term use of the drug Moxifen in patients with advanced breast cancer can also cause endometrial hyperplasia. This is because Moxifen has a weak estrogen, and long-term use can lead to the accumulation of estrogen in the body and cause endometrial hyperplasia.

Because the endometrium is affected by the hormone levels in the body, if the hormone levels change too much, it can easily cause endometrial hyperplasia, thereby affecting women's normal ovulation and menstrual cycle abnormalities, and therefore can also lead to infertility.
