There are many reasons for abnormal thickening of the endometrium. It can be caused by proliferative disorders, abnormal proliferation of the endometrium, such as polypoid hyperplasia or hyperplasia of other trophic organs, and endometrial cancer. Generally speaking, this is a gradual process of change. Most endometrial cancers are manifested in the early stages as endometrial hyperplasia, atypical hyperplasia, severe atypical hyperplasia, and slowly develop into endometrial cancer. There are no obvious characteristics in the early stages, and doctors often see abnormal uterine bleeding. Some people may not have any symptoms, and by the time they are discovered, they are already in the late stages. Therefore, as long as there are abnormalities in the endometrium monitored by B-ultrasound, whether there are clinical symptoms or not, it should be taken seriously. If the endometrial thickening is obvious, hysteroscopy is recommended. So you know what is going on, because the hysteroscopy is very clear. If abnormalities are found, diagnostic curettage must be performed under hysteroscopy. The common cause is non-ovulation or low ovulation, the endometrium is thickened by estrogen alone, and over time, the endometrium develops precancerous lesions or forms endometrial cancer. If endometrial thickening occurs, the first thing to do is to check whether there is normal ovulation. If there is no normal ovulation, treatment must be carried out as soon as possible, especially in women of childbearing age. If endometrial thickening occurs, it is abnormal. If endometrial thickening is caused by non-ovulation during menopause, oral progesterone is needed to deform and shed the endometrium, which has the effect of protecting the endometrium. |
