Detailed introduction and impact of blocking antibodies

Inhibitory antibodies:

Normal pregnant women have anti-binding lymphocyte-specific IgG antibodies in their serum, which can inhibit lymphocyte response (MLR), block the cytotoxic effect of maternal lymphocytes on cultured trophoblasts, prevent helper T cells from recognizing fetal antigen inhibitors, and prevent the maternal immune system from attacking the embryo. They are labeled as blocking antibodies (BA).

type:

1. Anti-warm B cell antibodies: anti-hla-d/dr antibodies on the surface of fetal B lymphocytes;

2. Anti-cold B cell antibodies: non-HLA cold B antibodies;

3. Anti-specific antibodies: genetic antibodies to the HLA-D/DR receptor on the surface of maternal helper T cells;

4. Anti-tlx antibody: It is an antibody against the common antigen of villi and lymphocytes, which can block the reaction of mixed lymphocytes.

5. Anti-Fc receptor antibodies: non-cellular barrier antibodies that block Fc receptors on B lymphocytes;

6. Anti-paternal complement-dependent antibodies (APCA).

Influence:

Clinically, infertility caused by immune factors accounts for about 10%-15%, among which antisperm antibodies are the main problem. Negative blocking antibodies are rare and easy to be overlooked. Lack of blocking antibodies can cause miscarriage. If APLA is negative, immunotherapy is required.
