Ovarian cyst pain

Ovarian cyst pain

Ovarian cyst pain may be caused by ovarian cyst rupture, ovarian cyst pedicle torsion, ovarian cyst long-term existence, ovarian cyst too large, etc. Different causes require different treatments. It is recommended to go to the hospital first, and after clarifying the specific cause, follow the doctor's advice and treat the cause. The specific situation analysis is as follows:

1. Rupture of ovarian cyst: Ovarian cyst may rupture due to external force, causing pain symptoms. If the cyst is relatively small and the symptoms are not serious, follow-up observation can be adopted for treatment. If necessary, Yunnan Baiyao capsules, vitamin K1 tablets, levofloxacin hydrochloride tablets and other drugs can be used under the guidance of a doctor. However, for patients who suddenly develop severe abdominal pain, laparoscopic surgery is often required as soon as possible, including ovarian cyst removal surgery, oophorectomy surgery, etc.

2. Ovarian cyst pedicle torsion: Patients with ovarian cysts may suffer from pedicle torsion, which manifests as sudden severe lower abdominal pain, and may also be accompanied by nausea, vomiting and other symptoms. It is recommended to undergo surgical treatment as soon as possible. The commonly used surgical methods are laparotomy or hysteroscopy to remove the affected ovary.

3. Ovarian cysts exist for a long time: For patients with ovarian cysts, if the cysts exist for a long time, it may affect the functions of surrounding organs and soft tissues, causing symptoms such as a feeling of heaviness and bloating in the abdomen, which in turn induces pain. For patients with more severe pain symptoms, it is recommended to perform laparoscopic oophorectomy on the affected side and laparoscopic ovarian preservation and cyst removal as soon as possible.

4. The ovarian cyst is too large: For patients with ovarian cysts, if the volume of the cyst exceeds 5cm, it will cause compression to the surrounding tissues and organs, causing pain symptoms. In this case, it is recommended to perform laparotomy, laparoscopic oophorectomy on the affected side, and laparoscopic ovarian cyst removal as soon as possible to avoid rupture due to excessive cyst size.
