Specialized hospitals use three methods to treat cervicitis!

Cervicitis is a common gynecological disease regardless of age. It can be divided into acute and chronic types clinically. Most patients with cervicitis do not have obvious symptoms, but everyone's physical condition is different. Those with symptoms will often show increased and thick vaginal discharge. The irritation of secretions will cause vulvar itching. In addition, some people will have symptoms such as urinary tract infection. It is recommended to go to the hospital for diagnosis as soon as possible and receive treatment under the guidance of a doctor.

Symptoms of cervicitis:

1. Acute cervicitis: The leucorrhea is purulent, accompanied by pain in the lower abdomen and lumbosacral area, or bladder irritation symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating.

2. Chronic cervicitis: Leucorrhea is milky white mucus or light yellow purulent. In severe cervical erosion or cervical polyps, it may be bloody leucorrhea or bleeding after sexual intercourse. In mild cases, there may be no systemic symptoms. When the inflammation spreads to the pelvic cavity along the uterosacral ligament, there may be lumbar pain, a feeling of heaviness in the lower abdomen, and dysmenorrhea, which worsens during bowel movements and sexual intercourse. In addition, the sticky and viscous leucorrhea is not conducive to the passage of sperm and can also cause infertility.

Three methods of treating cervicitis are as follows:

1. Drug treatment method: It is suitable for patients with small erosion area, shallow cervical inflammation or limited conditions. Use 25% silver nitrate and other local corrosion. The vagina should be irrigated before medication, and then wiped dry with dry cotton balls, and the cotton balls should be used to protect the normal vaginal mucosa. Chinese medicine powder can also be used, but it is forbidden to use during menstruation and pregnancy. Sexual intercourse and bathing are prohibited after medication.

2. Local treatment method: Suitable for all kinds of patients. Local treatment includes five combined therapies: vaginal flushing with liquid medicine, ozone, atomization, red light irradiation, and symptomatic medication inside the vagina. There is also vaginal flushing with Chinese medicine liquid and then red light or microwave irradiation. There is also routine vaginal flushing, liquid atomization, and some Chinese medicine ointments that promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis, remove dead tissue and promote muscle regeneration are applied to the inflamed or eroded surface, and then red light or microwave irradiation is used.

3. Surgical treatment: Surgical treatment is generally permanent and effective. If the scab heals well, you can avoid chronic cervicitis by paying attention to your diet and hygiene habits.

Warm reminder: The above are three treatments for cervicitis. In addition to active treatment, you must develop good living habits, maintain a good attitude, and go to the hospital for regular physical examinations every year to avoid giving the disease a chance to take advantage. I hope everyone will always have a healthy body.
