How can adnexitis be diagnosed? The diagnosis of the disease cannot be separated from the hospital's examination. For adnexitis, one of the common gynecological diseases, we must pay attention to it, so as not to delay the treatment time, acute to chronic, increase the difficulty and time of treatment, and bring greater pain to patients. So, how can adnexitis be diagnosed? 1. Ultrasound examination Adnexitis refers to inflammation of the fallopian tubes and ovaries. At present, adnexitis is mainly diagnosed through comprehensive evaluation such as B-ultrasound, gynecological examination, routine leucorrhea test, white blood cell test, and C-reactive protein. When B-ultrasound is used to check adnexitis, you should drink plenty of water and hold your urine. When the bladder is moderately full and you feel like urinating, you can do B-ultrasound so that you can see clearly. Women who are three months pregnant or older are not allowed to hold their urine. The symptoms of patients in different stages of pregnancy will be different. In addition, the elimination of adnexitis can also be checked and judged based on some of its common symptoms. 2. Routine blood test Acute adnexitis is mainly characterized by acute lower abdominal pain, accompanied by fever. During gynecological examination, there is obvious tenderness and rebound pain in the adnexal area. Routine blood tests show an increase in white blood cells and a significant increase in the proportion of neutrophils. If acute adnexitis is not treated in time or thoroughly, it may turn into chronic adnexitis. Common symptoms include fever, chills, and severe lower abdominal pain. Chronic adnexitis has varying degrees of abdominal pain, or a feeling of heaviness and pulling in the lower abdomen, which may be mild or severe, accompanied by increased leucorrhea, back pain, and menstrual disorders. 3. Examination of the uterus and appendages Understand the texture of the uterus and whether its position, size, shape, etc. are normal. If the uterus is enlarged, too hard, or has an uneven surface, these are abnormal phenomena and further examination is required. 4. Other inspection methods If the patient has adnexitis, the vaginal discharge will be abnormal. In addition, touching the patient's abdomen with your hand can cause obvious tenderness. Some patients with more serious conditions can also feel a mass in the internal reproductive system during hand examination. If this is found during the tactile examination, the next step is to combine it with instrument examination to confirm it. Experts remind women that once they suffer from adnexitis, they must not ignore it and should go to a regular hospital for examination and treatment in time to avoid worsening of the disease, blocking the fallopian tubes, causing ectopic pregnancy or infertility, and causing lifelong regrets. I hope that friends can deepen their understanding and knowledge of the disease, which will be helpful for everyone's recovery from the disease. |
