Modifications to the prescription for stopping leucorrhea: Take 12 grams each of Poria, Plantago seed (package), Red Peony Root, 10 grams each of Phellodendron, Achyranthes bidentata, Cortex Moutan, Atractylodes, 6 grams each of Alisma orientalis and Capillaris; if abdominal pain is obvious, add 10 grams each of Corydalis yanhusuo and Toosendan fruit to promote qi and relieve pain; if appetite is poor and stools are loose, replace Atractylodes with stir-fried Atractylodes 10 grams, add 20 grams of raw Coix seed, and 18 grams of Poria. It has the effects of strengthening the spleen and removing dampness, clearing away heat and removing dampness, and is helpful for the treatment of adnexitis.

2. Stasis and heat syndrome

Guiyuanhu Decoction: 20g of Patrinia scabra, 15g each of Angelica sinensis, Corydalis yanhusuo, Rhubarb, Red Peony Root, and Peach Kernel, 12g of Cyperus rotundus, decocted in water; if there is obvious stabbing pain in the lower abdomen, add 10g each of frankincense and myrrh to remove blood stasis and stop bleeding; for patients with adnexitis with obvious abdominal distension and pain, add 10g each of Chuanlianzi and Citrus aurantium to promote qi and stop pain; if the menstrual flow is scanty, dark in color and clots, add 20g of Leonurus japonicus to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis. If the leucorrhea is heavy and yellow in color, add 15g of Artemisia capillaris and 12g of Alisma orientalis, which has the effects of clearing dampness and heat, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, and clearing heat and detoxifying.

3. Cold and dampness stagnation type

Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction: Take 15g of Poria, 12g each of Angelica sinensis and red peony root, 10g each of myrrh, wormwood, Atractylodes macrocephala, Zedoaria herba, and Scutellaria baicalensis, 9g each of fennel, Ligusticum chuanxiong, and cinnamon twig, and 6g of dried ginger, decocted in water and taken orally; if the amount of leucorrhea is large and white and thin, add 10g each of nutmeg and ginkgo to warm the kidney and stop the leucorrhea; if the waist pain is obvious, add 20g of Chuanduan and 10g of Eucommia ulmoides, which has the effects of nourishing the kidney and strengthening the waist, warming the yang and dispersing the cold, and promoting blood circulation and removing dampness.
