How to treat non-menstrual bleeding

It is normal for women to bleed during their menstrual period, but some women experience vaginal bleeding during their non-menstrual period. In this case, they are very worried that there is something wrong with their body. At this time, they should go to the hospital for examination in time to see what is going on so as to take correct treatment measures. So, how to treat non-menstrual bleeding?

1. Functional uterine bleeding is referred to as functional uterine bleeding. This disease is very common in clinical practice. It is mainly caused by the dysfunction of the neuroendocrine function that regulates reproduction. Its manifestations are usually irregular menstrual cycles, excessive menstrual flow, prolonged menstrual periods or irregular bleeding. The principle of treatment is to stop bleeding quickly, adjust and establish a normal menstrual cycle after stopping bleeding, and prevent recurrence. Due to long-term bleeding, some people are also accompanied by varying degrees of anemia, so it is also important to correct anemia.

2. If menstruation is delayed for 7-10 days before bleeding occurs, do not assume that it is definitely late menstruation. You should pay attention to whether the amount, color, and duration of bleeding are the same as normal menstruation. If the menstrual blood is more or less, dripping continuously, and accompanied by abdominal pain, you should pay attention to the possibility of ectopic pregnancy or threatened abortion; if the bleeding is more than usual, lasts longer, and dysmenorrhea is obvious, it is more common in uterine fibroids or endometriosis. It is necessary to see a doctor in time.

3. Vaginal bleeding after sexual intercourse is called contact bleeding, which is often related to gynecological diseases such as vaginitis, cervical erosion, cervical polyps, early cervical cancer, submucosal myoma, etc. Going to a gynecologist as soon as possible is the only option.

4. If a woman who has had a hydatidiform mole experiences persistent vaginal bleeding again within two years after regular treatment, it may be an early symptom of a malignant hydatidiform mole and she should seek medical attention immediately.

If the bleeding is small, pay attention to the patient's mental state, observe the pulse rate, and take more rest. If the patient is pale and sweating, raise the feet a little, lower the head, drink some light salt water to keep the body warm, and seek medical attention in time.

If a female friend experiences non-menstrual bleeding, the first thing to do is to find out the cause, and then treat the disease symptomatically. This is the only way to effectively treat the disease and restore health as soon as possible.
