So how can pregnant women prevent miscarriage?

Causes of spontaneous abortion

Common causes:

Genetic factors. Embryonic maldevelopment due to abnormal chromosome number or structure is the most common cause of miscarriage. Among spontaneous miscarriages, which account for 20% of all pregnancies, genetic factors can account for 60% to 70%.

The influence of adverse external factors. Heavy smoking (including passive smoking), drinking, exposure to chemical toxins, severe noise and vibration, abnormal emotional excitement, high temperature environment and all other factors that can cause damage to the placenta and fetus can cause miscarriage.

Maternal disease. Any maternal disease that is detrimental to the growth and development of the fetus can cause miscarriage.

Father's factors. Relevant studies have shown that about 10% of male semen contains a certain amount of bacteria, which can affect pregnant women and cause miscarriage. Recently, it has been found that there is an asymptomatic mycospermia that can cause miscarriage in pregnant women.

How to prevent miscarriage

1. Get pregnant at the right age. The best childbearing age for women is 25-29 years old. If you are too young, you may easily have a miscarriage due to immature body development. If you are too old, you may easily have a miscarriage due to decreased reproductive function and chromosomal mutations.

2. After a miscarriage, you should wait for more than half a year to wait until the uterus is fully recovered and the body's qi and blood are restored before getting pregnant again.

3. Do a good pre-pregnancy physical examination, especially for women with a history of miscarriage. If you find any disease, you should get treatment first and wait until the disease is cured before getting pregnant.

4. Avoid contact with toxic substances after pregnancy; avoid strenuous exercise; avoid rough sex; do not smoke or drink; eat less or no irritating food; avoid negative emotional stimulation and maintain a good attitude; avoid contact with pets before and after pregnancy; avoid unclean sex. At the same time, family members should give pregnant women full understanding and care.
