How to prevent endometrial tuberculosis

1) Reduce the chance of iatrogenic endometrial implantation. Endometrial tuberculosis in the abdomen and episiotomy wounds is caused by endometrial implantation during surgery. Therefore, care should be taken to protect the wound during surgery and the wound should be thoroughly rinsed after surgery. In order to reduce the risk of endometrium being brought to the pelvic cavity or the site of disease, pelvic examinations should generally not be performed during menstruation. It is best not to perform abortions or perform them less frequently, and negative pressure should be used correctly when performing abortions. Try not to perform sterilization during menstruation. People with heavy menstruation should try not to use intrauterine devices for contraception.

2) Actively treat high-risk factors. Attention should be paid to the detection and active treatment of cervical stenosis and reproductive tract obstruction. Do not do strenuous exercise during menstruation, and avoid high mental stress. Active treatment of severe primary dysmenorrhea and menorrhagia may also have a preventive effect on tuberculosis. Those with a family history of tuberculosis should undergo regular gynecological examinations to detect tuberculosis in time and treat it in time. Late marriage is recommended, but timely childbearing is advisable.

3) Others: Regular physical exercise may reduce the incidence of tuberculosis. Long-term use of contraceptive pills may also have a certain preventive effect.

The above three are preventive measures to reduce the occurrence of endometrial tuberculosis. Experts say that although the above preventive measures cannot completely eliminate the occurrence of endometrial tuberculosis, they can still reduce the incidence rate to a minimum and try to avoid the harm caused by endometrial tuberculosis to female patients.
