What are the common symptoms of pelvic peritonitis?

There are many patients with pelvic peritonitis, especially those who experience aggravated pain in the lumbosacral region after fatigue or sexual intercourse. At the same time, patients with chronic pelvic peritonitis will also experience discomfort in the lower abdomen and lumbosacral region before and after menstruation, and may even experience symptoms such as dysmenorrhea and increased leucorrhea. In the early stages of chronic pelvic peritonitis, patients will also experience low fever and general fatigue. What are the systemic symptoms of pelvic peritonitis?

1. Pelvic peritonitis systemic symptoms sometimes include low fever, fatigue, and some patients have neurasthenia symptoms. The course of the disease is long, such as insomnia, fatigue, and general discomfort. Lower abdominal distension, pain, and lumbar pain are often aggravated after fatigue, sexual intercourse, and after menstruation. Chronic inflammation, pelvic congestion, menorrhagia, menstrual disorders, ovarian function damage, and fallopian tube adhesion obstruction can lead to infertility

2. Scar adhesion and pelvic congestion caused by chronic inflammation can cause lower abdominal distension, pain and lumbar pain, which are often aggravated after fatigue, sexual intercourse and before and after menstruation.

3. What are the signs of pelvic peritonitis? Infertility is caused by the destruction and adhesion of the fallopian tube mucosa, which often blocks the lumen; or due to adhesions around the fallopian tube, the lumen sometimes remains partially unobstructed. However, the mucosal cilia are destroyed, the fallopian tube is stiff, the peristalsis is restricted, and the transport function is lost, and conception cannot occur, so most patients are infertile.

4. Acute pelvic peritonitis has a history of acute infection, abdominal pain, muscle tension, fever, accompanied by heart rate, tenderness and rebound pain, and a large amount of purulent vaginal secretions. In severe cases, there may be high fever, headache, chills, loss of appetite, tenderness, abdominal pain, and a large amount of yellow leucorrhea with odor.
