Causes of endometrial tuberculosis

Once the basal layer has chronic tuberculosis, it can infect the functional layer of the endometrium for a long time, leading to chronic endometrial tuberculosis. The existence of tuberculous endometrial tuberculosis has the same mechanism.

2. Long-standing fallopian tube and ovarian tuberculosis or severe cervical tuberculosis can lead to chronic endometrial tuberculosis.

3. Intrauterine contraceptive devices can cause chronic endometrial tuberculosis.

4. A small amount of placenta remains after delivery or abortion, or incomplete restoration of the placental attachment part is often the cause of chronic endometrial tuberculosis.

5. For women after menopause, due to the significant decrease in estrogen levels in the body, the endometrium and vaginal mucosa become thinner and more susceptible to invasion by bacteria, leading to the occurrence of tuberculosis. In clinical practice, senile endometrial tuberculosis and vaginal tuberculosis often coexist.

6. Uterine submucosal fibroids and mucosal polyps may also lead to chronic endometrial tuberculosis.

7. Chronic endometrial tuberculosis may also exist without obvious causes. The pathogens mostly come from the flora in the vagina.
