Effective Nursing of Hyperprolactinemia

Hyperprolactinemia refers to a syndrome caused by internal and external environmental factors, characterized by elevated PRL (≥25ng/ml), amenorrhea, galactorrhea, anovulation and infertility. In the past 20 years, great progress has been made in the physiological and biochemical research on PRL, and the progress of PRL radioimmunoassay, cranial CT and MRI diagnostic technology has improved the diagnosis level of HPRL, and its incidence has also tended to increase. So, what should be paid attention to in the care of hyperprolactinemia?

1. Psychological care

Communicate more with patients, care for them, and respect them to reduce and stabilize their tension and anxiety.

2. Enhance physical fitness,

Improve your health level, strengthen physical exercise, do health-preserving gymnastics or practice Tai Chi regularly.

3. Avoid mental stimulation.

Stabilize your emotions, keep your qi and blood flowing smoothly, and pay attention to keeping warm during menstruation, especially the area below the waist. Protect your feet from cold, avoid wading through cold water, and avoid eating raw or cold fruits and vegetables.

4. The body's resistance is weak during menstruation.

Avoid heavy physical labor, pay attention to the balance between work and rest, coordinate Chong and Ren Qi and blood, do not take cold medicines during menstruation, strengthen nutrition, pay attention to the spleen and stomach, and if your appetite is good, you can eat more meat, eggs, milk and fresh vegetables, and avoid spicy and stimulating foods.

5. Remove chronic lesions,

Breastfeeding should not be too long, artificial abortion should be performed with caution, oral contraceptives should be used correctly, and obese patients should appropriately limit their diet and water and salt intake.
