Let the experts give us a detailed introduction. Only by clarifying the symptoms and causes of cervical warts can this disease be controlled.

The incubation period of cervical warts is 3 weeks to 8 months, with an average of 3 months. It is more common in sexually active women. The most common sites of cervical warts are the vulva, labia majora, vagina, urethral orifice, cervix and perianal area. About 30% of cervical warts can be seen in the vagina and cervix. The skin lesions of patients with cervical warts are light red papules at the beginning, which gradually grow larger and have uneven soft nipple-like lesions on the surface. Some are cauliflower-shaped, with pedicles at the root, and the surface is moist and dirty gray. For those who have been there for a long time, there may be erosion and exudation on the surface, and sometimes there is itching and scratching. Bacterial infection may occur secondary to it, and purulent secretions appear on the surface, with a bad smell and pain.

1. History of unclean sexual intercourse.

2. Typical skin lesions are papules that appear in moist areas such as the genitals or perianal area, and papillary, cauliflower-shaped or cockscomb-shaped fleshy growths with a rough, keratinized surface.

3. The acetic acid white test is positive, and pathological sections show poor keratinization and hollow cells.

4. Nucleic acid hybridization can detect HPV-DNA related sequences, and FUR detection can reveal specific HPV-DNA amplification bands.

How to diagnose primary cervical warts

1. Observe the vulva: Men can just take off their pants and let the doctor take a look, while women need to lie down. An experienced doctor will know at a glance that you may have genital warts, but you still need to do the following tests to confirm.

2. Immunohistological examination: Since the accuracy of the above examination is not very high, generally several more examinations are required. The doctor will take a sample of your wart for testing, and you only need to wait for the test results.

3. Histochemical examination: Histochemical examination is to extract a small amount of diseased tissue for testing, which is usually performed at the same time as immunohistological examination, which can save more time.

4. Acetic acid white test: Acetic acid white test is a test method that is basically performed for the examination of cervical warts, with a diagnosis rate of 75%. During the examination, acetic acid is applied to the lesion area of your vulva, and after a period of time, it is checked whether it turns white. If it turns white, it means there is a disease.
