Is it dangerous to have a baby with cervical precancerous lesions?

Although the chance of pregnancy for patients with cervical precancer is extremely low, early cervical precancer will not affect pregnancy. However, as the gestational age increases, the uterus becomes congested, and the nutrients delivered by the mother not only supply the baby, but also cause the tumor to grow rapidly, threatening the lives of the mother and the baby. So, is it dangerous to have a baby with cervical precancer?

If the mother is not diagnosed with cervical precancerous lesions before pregnancy, then as the gestational weeks increase, and some hormones secreted by the body during pregnancy promote cancer, the body's immunity decreases during pregnancy and it cannot fight cancer cells. Some signs of cervical precancerous lesions, such as bleeding, will be considered as threatened abortion and be ignored. If they are not discovered until after the baby is born, it is often life-threatening.

What is even more serious is that some women still do not detect cervical precancerous lesions after giving birth, and regard the bleeding as normal postpartum hemorrhage, and continue breastfeeding, which makes it even more difficult to suppress the cancer and can only develop to the point where doctors are helpless. Therefore, before getting pregnant, women must do various examinations, especially cervical smear tests, to rule out some diseases that will threaten the mother and fetus during pregnancy and avoid serious consequences.
