What causes recurrence of cervical precancerous lesions?

Gynecologists point out that cervical cancer is one of the common malignant tumors in women. It is the only cancer whose cause has been found and treated so far. Cervical cancer is caused by human papillomavirus (HPV). HPV virus can be directly transmitted through skin contact and has a latent period of more than ten years. Therefore, there are no symptoms in the early stage. Cervical cancer can be prevented and detected. Regular cervical cancer screening can effectively avoid the unfortunate occurrence. Cervical cancer has no direct connection with sexual life. Women need to have a correct understanding of it. Due to the misunderstanding of the concept of cervical cancer pathogenicity, it seems that cervical cancer is synonymous with uncleanness, which brings great harm to women, so that they are unwilling to face this problem and lead to unfortunate occurrence.

Globally, more than 200,000 women die from cervical cancer every year. In developing countries, cervical cancer is a common gynecological tumor, ranking first. In China, there are 131,500 new cases each year, with the highest mortality rate in Shanxi and the lowest in Tibet. Cervical cancer refers to a malignant tumor that occurs in the vaginal part of the uterus and the cervical canal.

The general trend is that the rural area is higher than the urban area, and the mountainous area is higher than the plain area. According to retrospective surveys of various provinces, cities and autonomous regions, the mortality rate of cervical cancer in China ranks first among all cancer mortality rates. For the metastasis of cervical cancer, it can spread directly to adjacent tissues and organs, downward to the vaginal vault and vaginal wall, upward to invade the uterine body, to the sides to invade the pelvic tissue, forward to invade the bladder, and backward to invade the rectum. It can also be transferred to the paracervical, internal iliac, external iliac, and inguinal lymph nodes through the lymphatic vessels, and even to the supraclavicular and other lymph nodes throughout the body in the late stage. Hematogenous metastasis is relatively rare, and common metastatic sites are the lungs, liver and bones. Three months after the onset of symptoms of cervical cancer, 2/3 of the patients who seek medical treatment have advanced cancer.

Four major causes of cervical precancerous lesions

Many women are very afraid of cervical cancer, but few of them know how to correctly prevent cervical cancer. However, with the improvement of social living standards, people's awareness of cervical cancer prevention and treatment has become more prominent.

First, bleeding after sexual intercourse. 70-80% of cervical cancer patients have this symptom.

Second, contact bleeding, bleeding after sexual intercourse, or uterine bleeding after gynecological examination are all signs of cervical precancerous lesions;

The third is cervical erosion. Young women with cervical erosion that has not been treated for a long time, or who still have cervical erosion after menopause, should be taken seriously;

Fourth, there is mixed blood in the leucorrhea. In addition to uterine bleeding caused by IUD insertion, women with mixed blood in their leucorrhea for a long time should be checked in time.

Medical statistics show that about 15% of patients with cervical precancerous lesions will develop into cervical cancer. It takes about 10 years for precancerous lesions to develop into cancer. Patients with cervical precancerous lesions have plenty of time to receive effective treatment. 80% of cervical precancerous lesions can be treated through early detection and early treatment. Therefore, the editor reminds women to do a good job of physical examinations to prevent problems before they occur.
