Women should be alert to the four major symptoms of cervical precancerous lesions

Experts spent nearly two years recruiting more than 10,000 non-pregnant women aged 25 to 59 who had sex and had not participated in cervical cancer screening in at least three years in a certain area as screening subjects, and conducted cervical cytology and human papillomavirus (HPV) examinations. It was found that the proportion of cervical precancerous lesions (CIN) in the screened women was increasing day by day. Therefore, experts said that women should help the four major symptoms of cervical precancerous lesions to detect and treat the disease early and prevent cervical cancer.

Four major symptoms of cervical precancerous lesions

1. Bleeding after sexual intercourse. 80% of cervical cancer patients have this symptom.

2. Cervical erosion. Young women with cervical erosion that has not been treated for a long time, or cervical erosion that persists after menopause, should be taken seriously.

3. Contact bleeding, bleeding after sexual intercourse, or uterine bleeding after gynecological examination are all signs of cervical precancerous lesions;

4. Mixed blood in leucorrhea. In addition to uterine bleeding caused by IUD insertion, women with mixed blood in leucorrhea for a long time should be checked in time.

Experts remind: Cervical cancer is a health killer for women. Women should pay attention to regular physical examinations and do a good job in comprehensive prevention of cervical cancer.
