The treatment of patients with damp-heat type adnexitis is mainly to clear away heat and dampness. The treatment of patients with stasis-heat adnexitis is mainly to promote blood circulation and remove stasis, clear away heat and detoxify. Patrinia, Angelica, Corydalis, Rhubarb, Red Peony, Peach Kernel, and Cyperus are often used in combination for treatment. If the patient has obvious symptoms of stabbing pain in the lower abdomen, frankincense and myrrh can be added under the guidance of a doctor to achieve the effect of removing stasis and stopping bleeding; if the patient has obvious symptoms of abdominal distension and pain, Chuanlianzi and Citrus aurantium can be added to achieve the effect of promoting qi and relieving pain; if the patient has less menstrual blood and the blood is dark with blood clots, Leonurus japonicus can be added to achieve the effect of promoting blood circulation and removing stasis; if the patient has more leucorrhea and the color of leucorrhea is yellowish, Artemisia capillaris and Alisma orientalis can be added in appropriate amounts to achieve the effect of clearing dampness and heat.

It should be noted that after taking the above medicine orally, the remaining residue can be put into a cloth bag and applied to the lower abdomen. Apply hot compress for 20-30 minutes each time, which also has a certain anti-inflammatory and bactericidal effect.
