Introduction to common diagnostic methods for cervical precancerous lesions

Cervical precancerous lesions are a type of cancer disease with a very high incidence rate among women. If various cervical diseases are not taken seriously or treated thoroughly, they can easily turn into cervical precancerous lesions, causing more serious harm to patients. Cervical precancerous lesions need to be diagnosed, and clarifying the condition of the disease is very helpful for subsequent treatment.

1. Cervical cytology diagnosis: It is a simple and effective diagnostic method for detecting early cervical precancerous lesions and is widely used in cancer prevention screening.

2. Cervical and endocervical canal biopsy: It is the most reliable and indispensable method for diagnosing cervical precancerous lesions and precancerous lesions.

(1) Iodine test: Apply iodine solution to the cervix and vagina. Normal cervical and vaginal squamous epithelium will be stained brown or dark brown. The unstained area is the risk area and biopsy should be taken from this area.

(2) Colposcopy: The cervical surface can be observed for abnormal cells and changes in the direction of blood vessels, and biopsies can be taken at suspicious locations or multiple points.

3. Cervical Conization: When multiple cervical cytology diagnosis results are positive and cervical biopsy results are negative, or when the biopsy is carcinoma in situ and invasive cancer cannot be ruled out clinically, cervical conization can be considered. The specimen is removed for continuous pathological section diagnosis. Traditional conization is rarely used in clinical practice due to its many complications. The most commonly used one is the third-generation French leep cervical repair, which has less bleeding and faster recovery after surgery.

4. Imaging and endoscopic diagnosis: B-ultrasound, CT, MRI, lymphangiography, cystoscopy, colonoscopy, etc. can understand the extent of lesion invasion and assist in clinical staging.

The treatment of cervical precancerous lesions should not be carried out blindly, but should be carried out on the basis of a clear diagnosis of the disease. This can better ensure the treatment effect of the disease. It is very important for the recovery of physical health. Therefore, everyone should carry out effective treatment accordingly.
