Differential Diagnosis of Bacterial Vaginosis

Vaginitis, as a female disease, is very harmful to women's health. Fungal vaginitis, as a type of vaginitis, is also very harmful to women's health. Below we will introduce some specific situations of fungal vaginitis, hoping to be of some help to everyone.

The most obvious feature of fungal vaginitis is the dregs-like vaginal discharge. Fungal vaginitis is caused by fungal infection. The incidence of fungal vaginitis is higher than that of trichomonas vaginitis. Fungal infection is called Candida infection in medicine, so fungal vaginitis is also called Candida vaginitis. It is more common in young girls, pregnant women, diabetic patients, and postmenopausal patients who have been treated with high doses of estrogen.

What is tofu-dreg leucorrhea? When white mucus like mucus or saliva flows out of a woman's vagina, accompanied by systemic or local symptoms, it is called pathological leucorrhea. Through this article, you will learn about the relevant content of tofu-dreg leucorrhea.

Pathological leucorrhea is mostly caused by physical weakness or phlegm and dampness, which is equivalent to vaginitis in Western medicine. However, routine examination of leucorrhea often fails to find pathogenic bacteria. Leucorrhea is a viscous white or colorless liquid that flows out of the vagina of female mammals. It is a mixture of secretions from the greater vestibular glands, cervical glands, endometrial secretions, vaginal mucosal exudates, and exfoliated vaginal epithelial cells. Leucorrhea contains lactobacilli, lysozyme, and antibodies, so it has the effect of inhibiting bacterial growth. During sexual intercourse, leucorrhea will increase, which has a lubricating effect on the vagina and facilitates sexual intercourse. Generally, leucorrhea increases in the middle of the menstrual period, and is thin and transparent; after ovulation, leucorrhea becomes viscous, turbid, and less in quantity. Leucorrhea increases before menstruation and during pregnancy.
