Why does vaginal candidal infection recur?

Vaginal candidiasis is one of the common gynecological inflammations, mainly caused by fungal infection, and is more common in young girls, pregnant women, and diabetic patients. The incidence of vaginal candidiasis is very high and it is easy to recur, which brings great trouble to female friends, so female friends should prevent it in their lives. So, what are the reasons for the recurrence of vaginal candidiasis?

1. Incomplete treatment: This is the main reason for the recurrence of candidal vaginitis. Some women, when receiving treatment, think that they are cured after taking the medicine for a period of time and finding that the symptoms of inflammation have disappeared. They stop taking the medicine without going back to the hospital for a follow-up examination. This incomplete treatment is prone to recurrence in the future, and the inflammation may continue to worsen in the future, making it more difficult to cure.

2. Not paying attention to hygiene: Daily personal hygiene, menstrual hygiene, and sexual hygiene all require women to pay attention. If you do not pay attention to personal hygiene, do not wash your vulva every day, and do not wash your underwear separately and dry it in the sun, it is easy to cause an imbalance in the vaginal flora, and mold will reproduce in large numbers, leading to recurrence of candidal vaginitis. If a woman has sex while suffering from candidal vaginitis, the pathogen can be transmitted to her sexual partner. If the sexual partner does not receive treatment together, the inflammation will recur after resuming sex. If a woman uses unqualified sanitary napkins and toilet paper during menstruation, or takes a bath or has sex, she may suffer from recurrent candidal vaginitis.

3. Abuse of antibiotics: Frequent or long-term use of antibiotics will destroy the balance of vaginal flora, change the pH of the vagina, cause vigorous growth of fungi, and lead to recurrence of candidal vaginitis.
