What are the causes of abdominal pain after abortion?

Some women experience abdominal pain after undergoing abortion, which may be related to the following factors.

1. Postoperative infection

Postoperative infection is a common complication after abortion surgery and is also a major cause of abdominal pain in women. Infection may be related to improper operation during surgery, or it may be caused by women not paying attention to hygiene after surgery. For example, taking a public bath, swimming or having sex within one month after surgery can cause acute or chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, followed by abdominal pain. 2. Uterine perforation

3. Incomplete abortion

Incomplete abortion refers to the failure to completely remove the chorionic villi and decidual tissues in the uterine cavity during the operation. Patients will experience paroxysmal abdominal pain after the operation, which is mainly caused by the paroxysmal contraction of the uterus in order to expel the remaining embryonic tissue out of the uterus. The patient will experience unbearable pain during the attack, accompanied by increased vaginal bleeding and large blood clots.
