Leek juice and brown sugar drink is effective in relieving dysmenorrhea symptoms

Dysmenorrhea is a common disease that troubles women. There are always a few days every month that make people suffer. You might as well try leek juice and brown sugar drink. It is not only simple to make, but also has a good effect of warming the meridians and replenishing qi. It can effectively relieve menstrual pain symptoms and make the skin rosy and shiny. It is especially suitable for women with dysmenorrhea caused by deficiency of both qi and blood. Drink it once a day when dysmenorrhea occurs. A course of treatment is 2-3 consecutive days. Ingredients: 300 grams of fresh leeks, 100 grams of brown sugar.

Method: First wash the fresh leeks and drain the water, then chop and mash them, and take the juice for later use. The Compendium of Materia Medica once described leeks as follows: "Leek seeds nourish the liver and the gate of life, treat frequent urination and enuresis, and the raw juice cures shortness of breath and wheezing, and relieves the toxicity of meat jerky."

Brown sugar: warm in nature, sweet in taste, has the effects of warming the stomach, removing blood stasis, activating blood circulation, nourishing the spleen, soothing the liver, and moistening the intestines. It is suitable for women with dysmenorrhea. The "Sui Xi Ju Diet" once described the effects of brown sugar as "dispelling cold, activating blood circulation, relaxing muscles and relieving pain."
