Candidal vaginitis is a gynecological disease with a high incidence rate, caused by fungal infection. The following three groups of people are susceptible to this disease. 1. People who frequently use broad-spectrum antibiotics Normally, there are many bacteria living in the female vagina. These different bacterial communities restrain each other and form a symbiotic harmonious environment, which will not cause disease. However, if women often use broad-spectrum antibiotics due to certain diseases, it will cause vaginal bacterial flora disorder, and the mutual inhibition will be destroyed, inducing the massive reproduction of Candida albicans, causing the occurrence of candidal vaginitis. 2. Pregnant women According to statistics, the incidence of vaginal candidiasis during pregnancy is about 15%, and one-third of pregnant women have candida in their vagina. When women are pregnant, the level of sex hormones in their bodies is relatively high, which can easily lead to an increase in the glycogen content in the vaginal epithelial cells, causing the acidity in the vagina to increase, forming an environment that is conducive to the growth of candida. Pregnancy can also reduce the immunity of the body's cells. Once these two conditions are combined, they may induce vaginal candidiasis. 3. Diabetic patients After suffering from diabetes, the sugar metabolism in women's bodies will be disrupted, leading to increased blood sugar and increased glycogen content in vaginal epithelial cells, which increases the acidity in the vagina and provides a suitable environment for the growth and reproduction of Candida, which can easily induce candidal vaginitis. |
