The treatment focus of acute and chronic adnexitis is different

Adnexitis is a common gynecological disease, which is mainly divided into two types: chronic adnexitis and acute adnexitis. Different types of adnexitis have different treatment focuses.

1. Chronic adnexitis

Clinical antibiotic treatment of chronic adnexitis is certainly important, but its treatment requires a long process. The effect of drug treatment alone is not obvious, and long-term supportive therapy is also required, that is, increasing nutrition and improving the body's immunity. Among them, the main way to increase immunity is exercise. Because chronic adnexitis is, to a large extent, also a physical and mental disease, maintaining a good mood can effectively resist the disease, and exercise is a way to improve immunity and cheer up. Therefore, the focus of the treatment of chronic adnexitis should be on antibiotic treatment and adhere to long-term supportive therapy.

2. Acute adnexitis

The treatment of acute adnexitis focuses on anti-infection. Since the disease is mainly caused by infection, such as bacterial infection, chlamydia infection, mixed infection, etc., sufficient antibiotics should be used for treatment. Because the pathogens of acute adnexitis are more complicated, broad-spectrum antibiotics should be used as much as possible when choosing antibiotics. If the patient has ovarian or fallopian tube pus accumulation and the pus is large when the drug treatment is not effective, surgical treatment should be considered in time.
