Who is not suitable for abortion?

Artificial abortion, also known as artificial abortion, refers to the termination of pregnancy by surgical means. For women who want to have an artificial abortion, it is very important to undergo a gynecological examination and related auxiliary examinations before the operation, which can not only understand the condition of the patient's organs, but also assist in surgical treatment and prevent some postoperative complications. In addition, gynecological examinations and auxiliary examinations can also screen the abortion group to determine which women are suitable for surgery and which women are not suitable for abortion. Female patients who are not suitable for abortion can be divided into the following categories:

1. Those with untreated or uncured genital inflammation

The most common complication of artificial abortion is postoperative infection. For example, if women with reproductive organ inflammation such as vaginitis and cervicitis undergo surgery, they are prone to ascending infection of pathogenic bacteria, leading to inflammation of the uterine cavity and aggravating the patient's pain. Therefore, before performing an artificial abortion, the inflammation of the reproductive organs should be treated first, and then the surgery should be performed after it is cured to avoid postoperative infection.

2. Patients with systemic diseases who cannot undergo surgery

Patients who are in the acute phase of various acute infectious diseases or chronic infectious diseases, severe systemic diseases such as heart failure, obvious hypertension, tuberculosis with high fever, severe anemia, etc. and cannot withstand surgery are not suitable for artificial abortion.

In addition to the above situations, those whose acidosis caused by severe vomiting during pregnancy is not corrected; those whose body temperature is above 37.5℃ twice within 4 hours before the operation; and those with high-risk pregnancy are also not suitable for artificial abortion.
