Ectopic pregnancy is different from dysmenorrhea

Xiaojie is the lobby manager of a star-rated hotel. Her menstruation has always been irregular and she suffers from severe dysmenorrhea. She is miserable every time she has her period. In the spring, she found her ideal husband and they started a happy life together. After marriage, Xiaojie's dysmenorrhea did not get any relief. Her husband was in pain but could do nothing about it. There were a lot of guests one day. Xiaojie, who had been busy all afternoon, felt a series of tight abdominal cramps. Xiaojie thought it was dysmenorrhea again, so she went to the lounge to lie down for a while. Sweat dripped down her face. Ten minutes later, Xiaojie felt the cramps in her lower abdomen continued to worsen and her lower body kept bleeding. When she tried to get up and fill a hot water bottle, she suddenly felt black in front of her eyes.

, and suddenly fainted on the ground. Fortunately, she was found in time and sent to the emergency room of the hospital. After examination, it was confirmed that she had an ectopic pregnancy (right fallopian tube pregnancy) complicated by acute hemorrhagic shock. She was quickly pushed into the operating room. While implementing emergency blood transfusion, anti-shock, fluid infusion and other comprehensive rescue measures, she also underwent emergency surgery to remove the affected fallopian tube. Two hours later, Xiaojie was pushed into the gynecology ward.

Ectopic pregnancy and dysmenorrhea are both common in women of childbearing age, and it is not difficult to distinguish between the two. The combination of sexual history, delayed menstruation, vaginal bleeding, lower abdominal pain and other symptoms highly suggest the possibility of ectopic pregnancy. However, Xiaojie was negligent and delayed the time of consultation because of her history of irregular menstruation and dysmenorrhea.
