Vulvar leukoplakia is effectively treated by both internal and external treatment

Vulvar leukoplakia belongs to the category of "vulvar itch" and "vulvar erosion" in traditional Chinese medicine. It is more common in middle-aged and elderly women. The affected areas often show symptoms of severe itching and cracking. Clinically, it is often treated with oral Chinese medicine combined with local fumigation and washing, which often achieves satisfactory results.

For internal use: 15g each of Chinese Angelica, Rehmannia glutinosa, and Epimedium, 12g each of Chuanxiong, White Peony Root, Cortex Moutan, Achyranthes Bidentatae, and Cuscuta Sinensis, 20g each of Millettia Spatholobi, Psoralea corylifolia, and Cistanche deserticola. Decoction in water, 1 dose per day.

External treatment: 30g each of Polygonum multiflorum, Radix Rehmanniae, Angelica sinensis, Paeonia lactiflora, Sophora flavescens, Cnidium monnieri, and Stemona tuber, 6g each of realgar and borneol. Wrap the first seven medicinal ingredients with gauze, tie the bag, put it in a casserole, add appropriate amount of water and boil for 20 minutes, then add realgar and borneol, continue boiling for 5 minutes, remove the gauze bag, use this juice to fumigate and then wash the affected area for 15-20 minutes, 1 dose per day, 2 times a day, generally 14 doses can achieve significant effect or cure.

Warm reminder: No sexual intercourse during treatment; avoid spicy and irritating foods; avoid smoking and drinking; patients should pay attention to lifestyle conditioning, eat more foods rich in vitamins, wear loose cotton underwear, and avoid wearing nylon or chemical fiber products; in the hot summer when it is sweaty, it is not suitable to wear pantyhose, tights or jeans; it is not suitable to use potassium permanganate solution or soap to wash the vulva; keep a happy mood; avoid excessive fatigue.
