The great harm of cervical erosion cannot be ignored

Compared with other malignant gynecological diseases, the harm of cervical erosion is not very serious, but this does not mean that the harm of cervical erosion can be ignored. Cervical erosion has become the most common disease among gynecological diseases. We must pay more attention to the harm of cervical erosion .

1. Cervical cancer

The harm of cervical erosion lies first in the fact that it may develop into cervical tumor after a certain development. Because under the stimulation of long-term chronic inflammation, the columnar epithelium derived from the proliferation of the cervical canal may undergo typical hyperplasia. If it is not treated promptly and correctly, it will gradually develop into the direction of cervical preneoplastic lesions.

2. Complications

The harm of cervical erosion is that in severe cases, it can cause other inflammations. For example, if the pathogens go up, it can cause endometritis. If they spread through the parauterine ligaments and lymphatic vessels, it can cause chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.

Inflammation may also enter the bladder triangle, causing urinary system diseases and irritating symptoms such as urinary pain, frequent urination or difficulty urinating.

3. Impact on fertility

If cervical erosion is not noticed in the early stage, it will gradually develop to the middle and late stages, and the situation will be more serious at this time, because the cervical secretions will increase significantly, become thick, and contain a large number of white blood cells. These factors will affect the activity of sperm, hinder sperm from entering the uterine cavity, and thus cause infertility.

The harm of cervical erosion itself may be relatively small, but many women suffer from cervical erosion for a long time and even get used to it, which greatly increases the harm of cervical erosion. Experts point out that cervical erosion must be given enough attention and actively treated.
