Beware of the three major symptoms of chronic adnexitis

Beware of the three major symptoms of chronic adnexitis

If acute adnexitis is not treated promptly and effectively after the symptoms appear, it will often turn into chronic adnexitis. Most patients do not understand this, and because the symptoms of chronic adnexitis are relatively mild, they often think that they have been cured and no longer actively cooperate with the treatment.

1. Dysmenorrhea

Chronic adnexitis can cause dysmenorrhea due to pelvic congestion, which usually starts one week before menstruation and becomes more severe as menstruation approaches. This is one of the symptoms of chronic adnexitis.

2. Abdominal pain

Inflammation can cause varying degrees of pain, mostly hidden discomfort, soreness, swelling, and a feeling of falling in the lower back, back, and sacrum. It is often aggravated by fatigue. Due to pelvic adhesions, patients with adnexitis may have bladder and rectal filling pain or pain when emptying. Or other bladder and rectal irritation symptoms, such as frequent urination, tenesmus, etc. Therefore, unexplained causes can also be attributed to the symptoms of chronic adnexitis.

3. Irregular menstruation

Frequent menstruation and excessive menstrual flow are the most common symptoms of chronic adnexitis. It may be the result of pelvic congestion and ovarian dysfunction. The inflammation of chronic adnexitis leads to uterine fibrosis, incomplete uterine involution or adhesion, and abnormal uterine position, which can all cause excessive menstruation. This is also one of the symptoms of chronic adnexitis.

The above are the most common symptoms of chronic adnexitis. From the above description, it can be seen that the symptoms of chronic adnexitis are indeed much milder than those in the acute phase. Coupled with the complexity of gynecological inflammation, many people "turn a blind eye" to the symptoms of chronic adnexitis.
