1. Early menstruation

Menstrual irregularity is biphasic. The follicular phase is short, only seven to eight days, or the luteal phase is shorter than ten days, or the body temperature rises less than 0.5 degrees.

2. Delayed menstruation

If menstruation is delayed for more than seven days, or even every forty to fifty days, and occurs for more than two consecutive menstrual cycles, and if ovulation occurs, the basal body temperature will be biphasic, but the follicular phase will be long and the high temperature phase will be low. If there is no ovulation, the basal body temperature will be monophasic.

3. Prolonged menstrual period

Normal menstrual cycles, prolonged menstruation, menstruation lasting more than seven days, or even lasting two weeks are relatively rare symptoms of irregular menstruation.

The symptoms of irregular menstruation are mainly the above three aspects. Occasional irregular menstruation may be caused by malnutrition, lack of rest or some minor illnesses, but if the symptoms of irregular menstruation appear for a long time, special attention should be paid to possible internal organic diseases.
