Female patients should know the diagnostic criteria for irregular menstruation in advance

Menstrual irregularities are very common in life, and this disease will have a certain impact on the patient's daily life. However, patients usually do not combine the diagnostic criteria for menstrual irregularities early, which may make their condition uncontrollable. Therefore, everyone should understand the diagnostic criteria for menstrual irregularities in advance so that they can receive treatment in time. Let's take a look at the diagnostic criteria for menstrual irregularities.

The diagnostic criteria for menstrual irregularities are:

1. Early menstruation Early menstruation refers to a shortened menstrual cycle, shorter than 21 days, and more than 2 consecutive cycles. It belongs to the ovulatory type of functional uterine bleeding with a biphasic basal body temperature, a short follicular phase of only 7 to 8 days, or a luteal phase of less than 10 days, or a body temperature rise of less than 0.5°C. This diagnostic standard for irregular menstruation is relatively common.

2. Prolonged menstruation: The menstrual cycle is normal, but the menstrual period is prolonged, exceeding 7 days or even 2 weeks. Those with inflammation usually have lower abdominal pain, which is aggravated during menstruation. Usually, the amount of leucorrhea is heavy, yellow or yellow-white, thick and smelly. Those with incomplete corpus luteum atrophy also have heavy menstrual flow; those with prolonged endometrial repair still have a small amount of continuous vaginal bleeding after the normal menstrual period, which is also one of the diagnostic criteria for irregular menstruation.

3. Delayed menstruation: Menstruation is delayed for more than 7 days, or even 40 to 50 days, and occurs for more than two consecutive menstrual cycles. For those who ovulate, the basal body temperature is biphasic, but the follicular phase is long and the high temperature phase is low; for those who do not ovulate, the basal body temperature is monophasic, which is also the diagnostic standard for irregular menstruation.

The above is the diagnostic criteria for irregular menstruation. I hope everyone can understand it. As long as you know the diagnostic criteria for irregular menstruation, patients can find out the condition in time and receive effective treatment. So please keep in mind the diagnostic criteria for irregular menstruation, which will definitely help the patient's condition. Finally, I wish all patients a speedy recovery.
