How to treat cervical hypertrophy and protrusion

Cervical hypertrophy and protrusion can be improved through medication, physical therapy and surgery. Common causes include chronic inflammation, abnormal hormone levels and birth injuries. Chronic inflammation and long-term stimulation lead to cervical tissue hyperplasia, hormone level fluctuations may cause cervical gland hyperplasia, and multiple births or difficult labor can easily cause cervical damage and morphological changes.

1. Drug treatment is a common method to relieve cervical hypertrophy and protrusion. Doctors may prescribe anti-inflammatory drugs such as cephalosporin antibiotics to eliminate chronic inflammation of the cervix; hormone drugs such as progesterone, which help regulate hormone levels in the body; local medications such as cervical suppositories, which can directly act on the lesion site to relieve symptoms.

2. Physical therapy has a good effect on improving cervical hypertrophy and protrusion. Laser therapy uses high-energy beams to accurately remove hyperplastic tissue, reducing the risk of bleeding and infection; cryotherapy destroys abnormal cells through low temperatures and promotes the regeneration of healthy tissue; microwave therapy uses thermal effects to improve local blood circulation and relieve inflammation and edema.

3. Surgical treatment is suitable for patients with severe symptoms or those who have failed conservative treatment. Cervical conization removes part of the diseased tissue and preserves the function of the cervix; loop electrosurgical excision of the cervix removes abnormal tissue with high-frequency current, which is less traumatic; total hysterectomy is suitable for patients with other serious gynecological diseases or repeated treatments that have failed.

4. Daily care is essential for cervical health. Keep the vulva clean and dry, avoid using irritating lotions; have regular gynecological examinations to detect and treat cervical lesions in a timely manner; avoid sitting for long periods of time, and do appropriate exercise to promote pelvic blood circulation; pay attention to menstrual hygiene and replace sanitary products in a timely manner.

The treatment of cervical hypertrophy and protrusion needs to choose the appropriate plan according to the specific cause and severity of the disease, and at the same time, it is necessary to cooperate with good living habits and regular examinations to effectively improve symptoms and prevent recurrence. Patients should receive treatment under the guidance of professional doctors, avoid self-medication or delaying the disease, and ensure the best treatment effect.
