How does Traditional Chinese Medicine treat uterine effusion?

There are many folk prescriptions for TCM to treat diseases. The uterus is the lowest part of the abdominal cavity in the whole body. When there is exudate or leaked fluid, it will be drained to the uterus, thus forming uterine effusion. So does TCM have any folk prescriptions for uterine effusion? The following will introduce to you in detail how TCM treats uterine effusion.

In traditional Chinese medicine, uterine effusion can be treated with the simplest physical therapy. The benign warm stimulation can promote local blood circulation in the uterus, improve the nutritional status of the tissue, and increase metabolism, so as to facilitate the absorption and disappearance of inflammation. Commonly used methods include short wave, ultrashort wave, ion penetration (various drugs such as penicillin, streptomycin, etc. can be added), wax therapy, etc.

Traditional Chinese medicine can drain uterine effusion, and the effect is quite good. Chronic uteritis is mostly of damp-heat type, and the treatment principle is to clear away heat and dampness. The main effect is to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis. The prescription is: 18g of Danshen, 15g of Red Peony Root, 12g of Aucklandia Root, 9g of Peach Kernel, 30g of Honeysuckle, 30g of Taraxacum, 12g of Poria, 9g of Cortex Moutan, and 9g of Radix Rehmanniae. When the pain is severe, add 9g of Corydalis. Some patients are of cold stagnation and qi stagnation type, and the treatment principle is to warm the meridians and dispel cold, and promote qi and blood circulation. For those with qi deficiency, add 15g of Codonopsis pilosula, 9g of Atractylodes macrocephala, and 15g of Astragalus.

Among them, red peony root and salvia miltiorrhiza have the best effect in treating uterine effusion:

Functions of Red Peony Root: Remove blood stasis, relieve pain, cool blood, and reduce swelling. Indications: Treat stasis and amenorrhea, hernia accumulation, abdominal pain, hypochondriac pain, epistaxis, bloody diarrhea, intestinal bleeding, red eyes, carbuncle, and injuries from falls.

Danshen is mainly used to treat cardiovascular diseases. It has a very good effect on coronary heart disease, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia. It also has a certain therapeutic effect on diabetes. Danshen and Qiongzhen Lingzhi boiled water together can effectively treat coronary heart disease and reduce the three highs (diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia).

Many patients want to cure the disease but do not want to use the above drugs in large quantities. These patients can try to alleviate the disease by strengthening their physical fitness. This method can promote the overall development of all parts of the body. After the physical fitness is enhanced, the disease will be easier to cure.
