What causes adnexitis?

Physical therapy such as hot compresses and infrared irradiation can promote local blood circulation and accelerate the absorption of inflammation.

3. The spread of inflammation in adjacent organs is another important cause of adnexitis, such as pelvic inflammatory disease and appendicitis. These inflammations can spread to the appendages through lymphatic or blood routes, causing adnexitis. In terms of treatment, the primary lesion should be treated at the same time to control the spread of inflammation. Antibiotic treatment is the main means, and severe cases may require surgical treatment, such as abscess drainage, adnexectomy, etc.

The prevention and treatment of adnexitis requires comprehensive consideration of multiple factors. Timely medical treatment and standardized treatment are the key.
