What to do if you have pelvic effusion in early pregnancy

If a woman has pelvic effusion, she should pay attention to many aspects, the most important of which is to undergo certain treatment. So, what should be done about pelvic effusion in early pregnancy and what treatment should be used?

Pelvic effusion is the presence of inflammatory exudate in the pelvic cavity, which can occur pathologically after pelvic inflammatory adnexitis or endometriosis. Pelvic effusion caused by acute or chronic pelvic inflammatory adnexitis is often accompanied by bilateral or unilateral lower abdominal pain, lumbosacral pain, low back pain, lower abdominal distension and pain, low back pain, etc., or aggravated by long-term standing, overwork, sexual intercourse, or premenstrual period, which can affect work in severe cases. Or lower abdominal pain, or increased leucorrhea, menstrual disorders, heavy menstrual blood, dysmenorrhea, and sexual discomfort.

If pelvic effusion is not treated in time, it will lead to pelvic congestion and the patient will have increased menstrual flow during menstruation. If the effusion affects the ovarian function, it will cause menstrual abnormalities, mostly heavy menstrual flow, dysmenorrhea and other conditions. If it is not cured in time, it will also affect the fallopian tubes, causing adhesions and blockages of the fallopian tubes, which will directly lead to female infertility. Pelvic inflammatory disease in early pregnancy may be a physiological pelvic effusion, which does not require treatment and can be absorbed by itself. If it is a pathological pelvic effusion, it needs to be treated in time.

It is recommended to use physical therapy to treat pelvic effusion in early pregnancy: hot compress with coarse salt and onion can treat pelvic inflammatory disease, pelvic effusion, fallopian tube effusion, and ovarian cysts. The method is: about 5-8 pounds of coarse salt. If you can't buy coarse salt, you can use the usual fine salt. Add a little raw onion and stir-fry it in a wok to heat it. The purpose of adding a little onion is mainly to control the temperature. When the onion turns slightly yellow, the temperature is about 120-130 degrees. Put it in a cloth bag while it is hot, and pad the abdomen with a few layers of large towels to prevent burns. Put it on the lower abdomen, and the amount should be enough to cover the lower abdomen. Put it for 20-30 minutes each time, use it twice a day, and use it for 7-15 days in a row, and the symptoms will be relieved. When frying the coarse salt again, add a few slices of raw onion to control the temperature. This is the local physiotherapy.
